To get over the craptastic day I decided to go to the Goodwill Outlet (where else) for a little retail therapy. Less than $23 bought all of the stuff below as well as lots more not pictured:
Sure, I need power supplies for the speakers and the remote as well as a controller for the Wii U, but those should be easy to find. The DVR has at least a 500 GB HD in it, so that’ll be yanked and put to use elsewhere. The Blaupunkt phone was purchased just for the cool retro look. All in all, a good day...

I have one of those Greyhounds and 2 of those Fieros somewhere in slightly better shape than you do!

What I need to find now is a ‘60s-vintage Greyhound like I had when I was a kid

Very cool! I never had one, but old Matchbox! I’ve got one or two....I’m a child of ‘80s, so most of the old ‘black wheel’ Matchboxes were long gone before my time, though I picked up a few at yard sales....they are mostly a bit rough around the edges though. :(
This set sits on a shelf in my bedroom though! Well.....they were never sold as a set, but the Landie has a rear trailer hitch that matches that older style of Matchbox trailer. The horse box trailer has a cracked top window and the rear door/ramp is missing, but still pretty cool. :)

Some of those dvr hard drives are locked to the device they came with so may not be usable with a computer. What model dvr?

Oh yeah, I’ve learned the hard way. DirecTV, U-verse and TiVo? No problem. Dish? Oh hell no. I tend to stick with the DirecTV units, like this one, and don’t have any problems.
